OneNote is Not a Killer App for Me

To me, the killer app for the tablet pc is PlanPlus from FranklinCovey.  Let’s face it, the reall benefit to having a tablet is taking digital notes and as much as I’m a big Microsoft user I just couldn’t ever warm up to OneNote.  To me, the interface is slow, cumbersome and messy.  I never could find anything and I hated all the tabs everywhere.  Everytime a new update or service pack for OneNote comes out I apply and try to make a go of it again but I’ve simply given up on the whole thing.

Let me quickly add that I realize that the OneNote team at MS has worked very hard on this product and it certainly doesn’t feel like a first-gen product but at the end of the day I felt it was getting in the way of the way I work so I had to give it the boot.
