Thoughts about life, church planting, and other things.
Amy has been working overtime getting our house decorated for Christmas and I’m lovin’ it. She does such a good job and has such a great sense of style. The house is now looking so festive. It’s amazing how changing things up a bit can produce such a big difference.
I spoke last Sunday about finding balance in our lives and how God uses seasons. The truth is that God knows that periodic changes are good things for us. He makes small changes all the time for our benefit. He “decorates” our lives.
Anyway, the decorations at my house are really helping me to get ready for Christmas. I’m almost (almost mind you) ready for Christmas music!
I'm Tony McCollum and this is my personal blog. The opinions expressed here are my own and not those of my church or anyone else. In addition, my thoughts and opinions change from time to time. I consider this a necessary consequence of growing with God. In other words, I'm allowed to disagree with myself!

Woo hoo! We have begun decorating to and I am so excited that I just can’t hide it! We will be getting our Christmas tree Saturday and I just love watching Christmas movies while basking in the lights and wonderful smell of our Christmas tree. Until then we will enjoy all the other little decorations that we put up around the house. “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”
