Mac vs PC Wisdom
It looks like I struck a nerve with a few people with my Mac crack this morning. In response to the feedback I will only say that there is neither PC nor Mac in Christ. All are one. (I know that’s hard to believe but I think it’s scriptural.)
Seriously though, just so you guys know, I bought a new 17 inch MacBook Pro when they first came out and I used it for almost a complete month. I really give it my best shot but I honestly believe I work best on PC. I know that’s not necessarily true for everyone but it is certainly true for me.
Let me quickly add that I’ve been following the news about Parallels Desktop for Mac and it’s tempting me to want to try the whole thing again. Hmmm. We’ll see.

Parallels rocks. I run Mac OSX, Windows XP and Linux Fedora Core all on the same MacBook Pro. The cool thing is the new Coherence feature. It allows a user to run a windows app right along side your other mac apps. For me, I use this for Outlook 2003 since I need that for work.
I was have been a Windows sysadmin for years, supporting Windows desktops and servers. I still do. I moved to OSX about 3 years ago due to its flexibility, Unix core, and virus free lifestyle. I can sysadmin Windows, OSX and Linux desktops and servers from one machine.
Use what works for you, but stay open minded about other possibilities. Sounds like you have done that.

I forgive you.
I forgive you.
Mark, I absolutely live in Outlook and Entourage just wasn’t cutting it for me so if Parallels allows me to run Outlook easily then I might have to reconsider a Mac. Hmmmm.
