Well, I think I stunk the place up today with my sermon. What can I say? I know they can’t all be home runs but I think I fouled out or something today.
Looking back, I guess I just tried to cover too much material in one message. I felt good about everything when I was preparing but when I stood up to teach it felt like I was trying to fit an entire series into one talk.
Oh well. Live and learn.

As a good friend of mine says, sometimes you’ve just got to call a spade a spade. :)
Say what you want, I was there for both services and they were great. Anytime you’ve got clips from Happy Gilmore and Planes, Trains & Automobiles, you’ve got a winner. Seriously, I got a lot out of the message and I heard positive comments from others there as well.
