- We had a great day yesterday at Fusion Church!
- The band AND the choir did a great job!
- It was awesome to have Stephen Lowe back in the saddle. He evidently thought so too. I love what he wrote about serving here.
- It was also awesome to have Angela Buckland back doing the open and close. She’s just great.
- I didn’t show it but I got very emotional near the end of the service. I was just overwhelmed with love for the people of Fusion.
- My second oldest son has scarlet fever. We had to leave him home yesterday with my oldest son. We’ve got him on antibiotics now so he’s getting better but please pray that he’s able to fully enjoy Christmas. Also, please pray that none of my other kids gets sick.
- I didn’t know that scarlet fever was just an advanced version of strep throat. I thought scarlet fever was something from the middle ages.
- We have absolutely nowhere to be tomorrow. That’s the first time in my life that’s happened. I’m so looking forward to just spending all of Christmas day with my amazing wife and kids.
- We’ve hit some sort of stride at Fusion. I’m amazed at what’s going on every week. (I feel sorry for some of folks that left through the transition and are now missing out on what God’s doing at Fusion.)
- Lately, I’ve been feeling all this energy while I’m preaching. God’s really up to something. (I find myself crashing harder after the services too, BTW.)
- I think Greg Troxell is awesome.
- Candles!! This is the first year since we started the church that we didn’t have to use glow sticks or light wands for the candle lighting. We used real candles and it looked so very cool. It was awesome.
- I had another blast from the past yesterday. My old high school buddy, Bill O’Brien, and his entire family, showed up at the service. It was so good to reconnect with them all. It’s been many years since I’ve seen Bill. (What’s up with all these reunions?)
- God miraculously provided for me to be able to buy some special Christmas gifts this year. Thank you, God, for always taking care of me and my family.
- Jeremy Densmore did a great job on his solo yesterday.
- My wife just continues to amaze me. She really is truly incredible.
- I think 2008 is going to be a banner year at Fusion.
- I get the next three days off and then I go into heavy planning/decision making mode for 2008.
- I’m proud of Gary Lamb and the folks at Revolution Church.
- God is stretching me…again.
- I’ve really enjoyed listening to my private stash of Christmas music this year but I think I’m about done.
- My kids are growing up so fast.
- If you’re one of Jeremy Densmore’s friends on facebook, you’ve got to check out the latest picture he posted of his son. It’s classic.
