Thoughts about life, church planting, and other things.
Some of you may not be familiar with my recording career. Back in the late 50’s and early 60’s, I had a very popular string of hits which opened some doors for me to be able to record a few Christmas albums which were also wildly successful.
I thought I might share some pictures from that era in my life. To the left you’ll see the cover of my first album which was released on the Decca label.
This led to my highly successful Christmas TV specials.
Here’s the cover of the TV Guide featuring a great article about yours truly.
Of course, I still had my beard back then which was scandalous at the time but people didn’t seem to mind. It certainly didn’t hurt my record sells.
My second Christmas album, simply referred to as the White Album by my fans, hit an all time sales record.
All this is just my way of wishing all my “fans” a very, merry Christmas!
I'm Tony McCollum and this is my personal blog. The opinions expressed here are my own and not those of my church or anyone else. In addition, my thoughts and opinions change from time to time. I consider this a necessary consequence of growing with God. In other words, I'm allowed to disagree with myself!

Where can I get one of those holly bow ties on the White Album?!?!?!? If I had one now, I’d wear it tomorrow to church!
