Sunday Mind Dump
- We had one awesome day at Fusion today!
- Here’s a little something for those that enjoyed my Thriller reference.
- I believe that the Drought series was one of the most important series of messages I’ve ever taught. I also believe that today’s message was very, very important.
- I’m getting used to teaching without a podium. I like being on stage with nothing but a barstool.
- I wish I could dance like Bryan Reksten.
- Angie Hipps is the hardest working women in show business.
- I’m really in that Christmas spirit. I’ve been listening to a lot of great Christmas music lately and now I’ve got Christmas on the brain.
- The Elvis benefit was fun but I’m glad it’s over. I find it very stressful every year. I’m not sure why. We had a full house and raised a lot of money for the orphans so it’s all good.
- I’ve been scrooged. Courtesy of Adam deWeber.
- I can’t wait for our Christmas series to start on Sunday! It’s going to be awesome.
- Everyone loved my shirt today. I got tons and tons on comments on it and I’m not sure why. It’s nothing special. Perhaps I was being punked.
- I’m so excited for my friend, Gary Lamb. I’m proud of him too.
- Theresa Stewart knows how to make some great biscuits!
- I love having one service! Everyone is fresh and everything seems so alive.
- I love my wife! She’s the greatest person I know. I love her more than words can express!
- I got some drive-thru on the way to the office after church and I had a box of bones in the front seat with me. I freaked the dude at the window out! :)
- The NGHS football team will be playing at the Georgia Dome this Friday. How cool is that? Way to go guys. It’s going to be televised and I’m going to try and watch it.
- We’ve got the greatest volunteers in the world at Fusion!
- I’m getting addicted to Jetman on Facebook.
- I’m really starting to like Mike Huckabee. I still don’t know if he can go the distance though.
- My boy, Tadd, was on NBC Nightly News. Very cool. I’m very proud of Tadd.
- God’s doing something deep inside of me. He’s stretching me and changing me. More on this later.
- Geeks, check out Absolute Uninstaller. It’s great.
- I enjoyed this brief interview of Kurt Vonnegut this week. Thought I’d pass it on.
- Another outstanding post from Steven Furtick here. It ties in nicely with my message from this morning.
- I like all the phrases Paul Peterson lists in this great post but you have to be careful when and how you use #4. :) (People constantly underestimate the importance of encouragement.)

I got a great video answer to a question Mike Huckabee got on the bible the other night on CNN. It was by far the best answer I have ever hear from anyone. It’s on my blog.

I’m with you on Huckabee. I don’t think he can go the distance, but I’m hoping for at least a shot at vice president.
Also, Sarah was saying how she liked your shirt on the way home from church today. You must just have some mad fashion skills.

How can you be for Huckabee? A press release from Hillary said, “In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled ‘I Want to Become President.’” Man, I was just trying to tell my green crayon from my red one, and this guy is writing essays at age five. Do I smell exageration in the air?
Just for the record, “I Like Mike!”

Thanks, Tony. Honestly, I am just trying to keep up with all the other awesome Fusion volunteers. We have a great group of people who work hard every week, and I just want to make sure I’m sharing the load. I love our church and I am glad to be a part of the amazing things God is doing in our midst.
