• I love the folks at Fusion Church!
  • Church was a lot of fun today!  There was a lot of energy in the room.  I love the holiday schedule.
  • Amy and I discovered Dark Chocolate Cherry M&M’s at Target the other night.  They are now my favorite M&M’s.  Very good.
  • I took my family to see the movie Enchanted last Friday.  It was really well done.  Amy Adams was pitch perfect.
  • Rumors keep growing regarding an Apple iTablet.  If one does come out, I may buy it on the spot.
  • Sometimes it’s incredibly hard to distinguish an obligation or an obstacle from an opportunity.  Let the hearer understand.
  • I made the mistake of sitting in this $4000 chair at Brookstone and now I must have one.   It was a life-changing experience!  It’s on sell this week so I may have to move quickly.
  • This trailer from Will Ferrell’s upcoming movie, Semi-Pro, is funny.  It looks like another winner.  I love the last line.
  • I thought my sermon this morning was a little clunky but I guess it got the job done.  I did enjoy preaching from the table though.
  • The set at church today looked great.  I was very pleased with it.  Great job, guys!
  • I had a good time at the worship team Christmas party tonight.  (Yet another benefit of having my wife on the worship team.)  I fear I was a little obnoxious though.  My apologies.  I don’t get out much.  (I’ve got to lay off that egg nog.)
  • I love Davis and Angie Hipps.  They both make me laugh a lot.
  • Ben Forehand cheats but I still dig him.
  • It was something like 197 degrees today.  Crazy!
  • Kelly Greer did a great job with the open this morning!  Way to go, Kelly!
  • I’ve got to start taking better care of myself.  I’m falling apart physically.
  • For various reasons I only got a couple of hours of sleep last night and I was feeling it today while I was preaching.  Perhaps that’s why it was clunky!
  • I don’t know what God’s trying to teach me (maybe it’s the devil) but I’ve had so many folks disrespect me in various ways recently that it’s crazy.  I’m trying to not let it get to me but it’s bothersome.
  • I like Chad McIllvenna.  He’s one cool dude.
  • “Get thee behind me, Mrs. Dash.”
  • I slammed my knee into one of the theater chairs today so hard that I thought I was going to pass out.  It’s still hurting.
  • I had no idea what a monster I was creating when I invited a bunch of Fusion folks to play jetman with me on facebook.  What a bunch of hyper-competitive people!  :)  David Sommers is rocking it with 1900!  I’m afraid I’m out of my league now.
  • The annual budget is done and out the door!  Woo-hoo!
  • I love, love, love my wife!  She’s the greatest.
  • I’ve got one crazy week in front of me.
  • My oldest son is one amazing boy.  I’m very, very proud of him.
  • This guy is always copying me.  Now, he’s carrying the same phone as me.  Get a life, dude.
  • I had an interesting meeting with Keith Lindsey of the Acts13 Initiative this week.  I learned a lot about what God is doing in the Philippines and other spots around the world.
  • I like Jaxon Bennett’s taste in music.  I also agree that “And So It Goes” is the best Billy Joel song ever.  It’s sad but good.  The words got me the other day.
  • A big thanks to Ren Buckland for loaning me his major award for today’s service!
  • I’m excited about the first few series we have planned for next year.  I think it’s a strong line up.
  • The Word of God has been coming alive to me recently in fresh new ways.
