- Another great Sunday at Fusion. I just feel like the Lord is really doing some great things at our church lately. I’m so thankful for that.
- My boy, Ren Buckland, is blogging now. How cool is that?
- I’m feeling like my churchwerx blog has been suffering from neglect. I hope to correct that soon. Stay tuned.
- Seth White is one of the most talented people I’ve ever known.
- Paul Peterson spent the morning with us at Fusion. I just dig that dude. He’s as sharp as they come and I know that Walls Down Church is going to be one great church. (Cool name, huh?) I can’t wait to hear about all God does through Paul, Sherry and the rest of the team!
- I’ve only had my glasses for a year and I already need a new pair. I honestly feel that my eyesight has gotten A LOT worse since I started wearing glasses. Go figure.
- I’ve really been enjoying the “eXtreme gospel” station on iTunes radio recently.
- Shannon really came through for me this week by finding a real yoke for the message. Way to go, Shannon!
- Shannon also had a very happenin’ birthday party this past weekend. I’m not going to tell you how old she is but I must say that I am so glad she was born! She is such a gift to me and the rest of our church. We love ya, Shannon!
- I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in well over a week now and I’m seriously feeling it. It certainly helped me talk about being weary this morning with some compassion but I’m ready for this to end. I really don’t know what the deal is.
- Bob’s post about having enough yellow really connected with me. I have all my Bible verses in red in my notes and I always want to make sure I have plenty of red. To me, the secret to having any power when preaching is to pump up the red.
- Special props to my dear friend, Angela Buckland, for hanging in there no matter what we throw at her!
- Looks like these guys stole some of our set design ideas. It’s kind of sad that they had to resort to that but we forgive them. Seriously, Jason Smith continues to rock the place with his creative set work.
- Loved, loved, loved this post from Craig Groeschel. The truth is that, if you’re called to the ministry, you’re gloriously odd. Embrace it.
- View this test and tell me that it doesn’t freak you out. (HT: Seth Godin) Man, that’s eye-opening.
