My heart broke this morning when I heard the news that Justin Hayes passed away last night. Justin was only 25 so I’m still in shock from the news. Justin was a great guy and I had the privilege of baptizing him a few years ago. I have fond memories of him and he will definitely be missed. Please join me in praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.

Thats so sad! I didn?t even know he was sick? Was he sick or was there an accident? Can you post the service times/location if you find them out?
Kelly, he had a horrific accident last night at the Braves game. Here’s a link.

I don’t know much more than that.
Justin will be badly missed by all of us that loved him so much. I was friends with Justin and he attended a small group with my brother and I for the past several months. He truly loved Christ with all his heart, mind, and soul. It was unusual to catch Justin without his Bible or without a kind word for someone. As much as it hurts that he is not with us, he is now in the presence of his glorious Savior.
We visited his parents today and they are comforted by this fact as well. We are unsure of when and where the service will be because he has to have an autopsy since it was in a public place. I will be in contact with Tony with details about the service. Please keep his loved ones in your prayers.
Justin was like family to me and I love him like a Brother. He will be badly missed. But, we do know he is walking on streets of gold. Tony, if you could, I think the service is going to be 11:00 at McDonald’s funeral home. His parents want you to do the service. Call me at 770-403-2780 if you get a chance.
It’s on Tuesday
You can get all the detail about the funeral (as well as directions) from this link.

The trials and heartaches of life may sound like a call to evacuate—to run away or to respond to life in ways that are disheartening and destructive. But we would do well to listen more closely to our Lord. The trial may be nothing more than a reminder that our trust is to be in God, not in people. We can trust Him in those times when the alarms start to sound. —Bill Crowder

I thought this story was both interesting and heartwarming. I commend Pixar for doing the right thing.
