Yep. If you’re actually using your lap, you’ll probably want to address it. I usually just use a lapboard, but they make stuff specifically for the issue. Check these two out…

Can’t comment on Macs, but I recently purchased a ThinkPad instead of my standard Dells in part because of the oppressive Dell heat (standard in all models). No regrets.
