20May2008 Filed under: Mac Author: Tony McCollumDoes every MacBook Pro get as hot as my mine? Seriously, this sucker is hot. I mean really hot. I think I could fry an egg on the back of the unit. Is this normal?

Yep. If you’re actually using your lap, you’ll probably want to address it. I usually just use a lapboard, but they make stuff specifically for the issue. Check these two out…

Can’t comment on Macs, but I recently purchased a ThinkPad instead of my standard Dells in part because of the oppressive Dell heat (standard in all models). No regrets.
