Thoughts about life, church planting, and other things.
Some of you may remember that I’ve been on the hunt for some gummy colas. I had been craving some of those bad boys for a long, long time and I looked everywhere I could think of to no avail.
I found some on sale online but that seemed a little extreme. Amazon sold them in 5lb. bags but that too was over the top. I got some cheap generic ones at a candy store that tasted like…scream…root beer. Yikes! I evidently sort of gave up.
Then, one day I was in line a blockbuster, of all places, and I was just sort of waiting and looking around when I noticed Haribo Gummy Happy Colas in the candy section! I couldn’t believe it.
When I final got my hands on a bag of them I was a little scared that they might not live up to my memories of them but they were wonderful and my kids loved them too!
Unless there’s a run on them, our local blockbuster has at least two bags left. After that, I’m not sure what’s going to happen. Maybe I should just order the 5lb. bag from Amazon after all.

Tony,
Germany in EPCOT has piles and piles of them. 1 of my Disney rituals is to buy gummy bears in Germany.
I wish I was there :)

Haribo is the best. Except no substitutes. I got spoiled when I lived in Germnay. There was no other gummy except Haribo when I was there.
