I am truly loving this, it is wonderful every morning to be able to hear some uplifting words of encouragement. Reading from psalms has always been one of the more joyful books of the bible for me especially since it basically is Song giving praise to the Lord throughout. Keep up the great work Pastor Tony.

Tony thank you again for the devotion. This series has been a huge plus in my life. “His faithful love endures forever”, what a great truth. I usually try to solve my own problems without thinking to pray to God. What a mistake in not using the source of all my strength! I just want to thank Him for giving me the “authority” to claim His help and strength in helping me solve my problems.
I am thankful that God is using you to reveal these truths to me, and reminding me to claim his promises.

Thank you for teaching us today about authority and about claiming promises. Sometimes when I pray I feel like I am just talking in the air. This devotional speaks directly to my personal “bees” and shows me the way out. The only way is through God’s love.

Verses 5-7 really stuck out to me today. “In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me.” I have been having some anxiety knowing that in just over 2 months I will have a c-section that will bring us child #2. I’m nervous about the surgery (even though I’ve been through it before) and nervous about caring for another child. I’ve prayed about it just about every day. I need to write these verses down and put them up somewhere so I can see them everyday.

I really like the repetition in this passage. Faithful love and authority. Say it again! I know that I do not use the authority given to me by God enough in my life. This passage reminds me to stay calm and know that God is protecting me and my family.

The verses in Psalms are written beautifully; however, I often struggle to understand the meaning of the passages (and I have a Living Bible edition). Thank you, for providing an understanding to these verses. Verse 12 really applies to my life right now. It is so easy to become overwhelmed with panic and doubts. This is something that I have been trying to control for some time.

I wanted to post a second comment. I did not have the opportunity to really pray after reading the scripture earlier this afternoon, but did later and what a special prayer time! Great and True fellowship. Lots of truth and tears. What an AWESOME shepherd Paster Tony is. He has led me straight to the Father’s throne. If you are not following his lead, you are REALLY missing out! Spread the word…… Love to my fellow sheep!

Wow! !’m getting so much out of my quiet time this week. It is great to be reminded, what a loving and faithful God we serve and that we are not alone in our troubles. He has given us autority to overcome the enemy.

Tony, Wow! You said something in passing during this devotion that hit me like a ton of bricks. It went something like this: Because God is faithful I put my trust in him, “I need to know that I am in place of “Great Security” even though I am living in a time of “Great Instability”! That is powerful and about the most influential cliche that is going to dominate my thoughts with all of the crap going on right now. Thanks so much and God is using this time in wonderful ways!

I know this is a day late and maybe a dollar short but this devotional came in a very timely manner. There are many bees swarming in my life right now but I know that I have made it through more difficult circumstances and that the only reason I did make it through was because of Him. He is there for us forever. This means for current situations, past situations and the ones yet to com. I am leaning on the words of this message as well as past experiences. I will admit that I am weak at this time because of the past battles but I have to go with His promise that I don’t have to rely on my own strength but His. I know that in retrospect my problems or bees are nit as bad as past one but there seem to be many of them hitting me at once and I feel I still have the scars from past battles.

That was great…
I was free of bees before I started this week, but they have found me hiding by a rock. This helped me remember “to take refuge in the Lord” and rely on him to take care of the people I love and care deeply about.
