Dangerous Drift

The most dangerous thing in this life is aimless drift!  Success can be dangerous and failure, of course, can be too but both of them pale in comparison to disastrous perils that surround drift.  Purposelessness will kill you if you don’t watch it.

God, teach us our purpose and let us pursue it wholeheartedly!

“A man’s destiny in the world and in the world to come is determined by him. God himself will not help a man beyond a certain point. He must take himself in hand and make himself behave, he must force himself to swim and not allow himself to float.”
(A mentor of mine, Dr. Noel Smith, former editor, Baptist Bible Tribune) Seemed appropriate.
