Where does the saying "Sick as a dog" come from? Have you ever really seen a sick Dog? Do dogs get sick,,,like colds, flu, etc? I don't think they do. My brother who's a vet told me that illnesses don't "jump" species, so if your dog is sick, fortunately, you won't catch it and vice versa. So technically you can't be sick as a dog because you can't "get" whatever illnesses dogs have.

Hum...I think I've watched one too many sponge bob video's the last several days. Need to get out and speak to adults.

Ps my real reason for writing was to say, sorry you are under the weather!!!! Under the weather? ...don't get me started.
