Church Management Software?

We’re currently using PDS which we’ve outgrown.  After looking at Fellowship One, I don’t think it’s what we need either.  Pastors, what CMS do you use and would you recommend it to us?

    TOny,

we spoke a little about it at C3 I think, but you need to check in to PDS new product…PDS LIVE.

Just give them a call and ask for a demo.

Zak, maybe I do need to check it out but I really want a mac client. I also want to do everything via the web. PDS Online didn’t seem to fit the bill. I’ll check it out again though.

ACS – They’ve done a major overhaul to bring it into the 21st Century…has web-based or stand-alone capabilities and the tech support is amazing!!! We love it.

    • Tony says:

Chris, I’ll check that out. I still have the older version of ACS in my mind when I think of that product. I need to see what they’re doing today. Thanks for the heads up.

We’re moving away from ACS to PowerChurch. ACS was cumbersome and not as much of what we needed…

We use Fellowship One and love it.

Ben, what do you like about it, specifically?

      • Ben Dubow says:

A couple of the things I love about it is how comprehensive it is… powerful for assimilation, giving, and integration with our website and other web tools (Unifyer, etc). Good API’s. It has transformed our follow-up to weekend services for our staff team. I will say that it takes a while to really learn, but we were also up and running with the basics pretty quickly. The support and training we’ve gotten has been excellent from initial migration of data, set-up, and launch to ongoing use. We were using Community Church Builder, but we find F1 a much better tool that will grow with us…
