I’m breaking my blogging break to bring you this breaking news…
I’ve been asking you guys to pray for weeks now and God has been answering your prayers like you wouldn’t believe. In fact, God has done something so amazing that we’ve decided to scrub everything that we’ve got planned for this weekend and start a new series to tell you guys all about it. That’s right. We’re canceling the rest of the THR3E series. We’re rescheduling the Fusion Two class. We’re also rescheduling the Newcomer’s Lunch.
We’re doing all of that because we are going to be sharing the biggest news in the history of our church this Sunday!
Don’t you dare miss this. Do whatever you’ve got to do to be there this Sunday. If you have a vacation planned this weekend, cancel it. In fact, cancel anything that might conflict with church this weekend.
Everything changes this weekend at Fusion. Don’t miss it.

Big News Crackpot Theory #2: Fusion Church will be changing its name to “Glory House Barbecue Church,” and will begin meeting at Jim ‘n’ Nick’s Barbecue restaurant at 10:30 until 2:30 next Sunday. The move was inspired by the book “Sticky Church” by Larry Osborne, which Tony blogged about back in October (http://tonymccollum.com/2008/10/sticky-church/) and apparently thoroughly misunderstood.

Hmmm… I’m trying to guess what the big news is. If it’s a new Wednesday night church service, that would be great! That’s one of my days off. Whatever it is, good news is good news. Glad to hear it (I think).
