The Google Wave looks like the future of email to me.  I can’t wait to learn more about it and/or get my hands on it.

I’m pleased to announce that our total giving commitment for our Advance offering is now just over $111,000!!!  I’m so blown away by that number that I can hardly believe it.  People just keep committing to give.  How cool is that?

Folks, God is going to honor this sort of sacrificial giving in mind-blowing ways!  There’s no doubt about it.  He’s going to use it to change the lives of others forever AND He’s going to change us in the process too!

BTW, there’s still time to commit if you’re interested in giving to this offering.  There will be commitment cards in the programs for the next few weeks.

I felt like the Lord wanted me to share a word with the readers of my blog here today.  I’ve been trying to think of some eloquent way to say but I’ve never been especially eloquent and I don’t think it’s going to start today so here goes…

This weekend, we are going to be continuing our A.K.A. God series by looking at how God heals our hurts.  I don’t know if I could be teaching a more important message for the times in which we live.  There are so many hurts in our world right now.  I see them all over the place.  People seem to be walking around with all sorts of wounds and the glorious truth is that God wants to heal those wounds.

Wow!  Our guest worship leader, Ricky Hall, did an outstanding job last Sunday!  He’s truly a talented and gifted worship leader.  God just seems to really use him in powerful and unique way.

When Seth told me about his vacation plans a couple of months ago, I immediately thought of asking Ricky to come help us out.  I’ve wanted to get him to come to Fusion for a long time but I didn’t know if he’d be available.  That’s why I was thrilled when he agreed to come.

Now, if you missed Ricky, you’re in luck because he’s going to be back again this weekend!  This will unfortunately this will be his last weekend with us for the foreseeable future so make plans now to be there this Sunday.  Don’t miss it!

Man, I had a great day yesterday.  I can’t remember the last time I had such a relaxing day.  Amy just flat out took care of me.  Now, it’s time to switch gears and get back into the game.

I just have this strong sense that God’s getting ready to do something HUGE at Fusion but I’m not completely sure what it is.

I think I’ve seen every episode of everything Sid and Marty Krofft have ever made.  Seriously, the little clips in this video of their various shows really brought back a lot of memories for me.  The SciFi channel is running a marathon of old episodes of Land of the Lost today for any of you guys that are interested in enjoying a childhood flashback.
