Those of you that know me know that love me some Bible translations.  The latest one from Thomas Nelson seems intriguing.  It’s called The Expanded Bible and it looks to be something like an updated Amplified Bible with lots of Bible helps written into the text itself.  It’s sort of hard to explain but you’ll understand what I mean when you see it.

Thankfully, the folks at Thomas Nelson have made a PDF version of the New Testament available to download for free.  You can check it out here.  (BTW, if you own a Kindle then I suggest you upload the PDF for a better reading experience.)

The Expanded Bible doesn’t ship until August but I’m sure I’ll pick up a copy.  I think that I’ll like having it in my arsenal of Bible translations.
