  • baptism-image-onlyWow!  What a powerful day we had today at Fusion!  Honestly, I think it was the most powerful day we’ve ever had.
  • God answered our prayers and really showed up in a major way today!
  • We invited people to be baptized spontaneously today and we had 33 folks step forward!!
  • I still can’t get over that number…33!
  • When we were planning this whole thing I didn’t know if we were going to have more than three folks so you can imagine how delighted I was to see all those people come forward.  It was truly an amazing and overwhelming sight.
  • The whole thing was just amazing.
  • I found myself getting choked up and I had to make jokes to keep myself from getting totally overwhelmed.
  • We baptized young people and old people.  We baptized engaged couples and married couples.  We even baptized four people from one family!
  • I just can’t get over it all.
  • It’s just so wonderful to see God doing His thing.  It’s so great to get a front row seat to watch the Creator of All Things work His will.
  • It was a true honor and thrill to get to baptize all those folks.
  • I can still see the faces of the people that I baptized today.  Very cool.
  • We’ve already received requests for photos and/or videos of the baptisms.  I hope to get those up online this week.
  • I feel like Fusion is on the verge of something extra special.  I don’t know how to say it other than that.
  • Praise God for His faithfulness, grace and love!
  • Later.

  1. It was SO awesome. Praise God. I loved the talk you gave on baptism–I thought it totally combined Biblical accuracy with sensitivity. It was communicated, IMO, in a way that didn’t alienate people, but helped them *understand*. Obviously, since practically half the people left their seats!

    It rocked.

It was such an incredible experience! My family and I are very new to Fusion and we were just floored by what took place. We’ve been through some “less than great” church experiences within the last couple of years. I’ve been in and worked in churches for years and years. That move by God yesterday was one of the most exciting and powerful things I have ever experienced! Thank you for following God’s call and through that allowing us to experience something fresh and spiritually invigorating!

Now THAT was church! I loved it and how you and the staff of Fusion took the time and effort to remove any hinderance that might keep someone from being baptized. Your explaination was great, sensitive, and on target. My heart is still moved by it all. Thank you for following God’s promptings. Fusion rocks!
