- I’ll be honest and say that today felt a little rough around the edges to me but I’m still confident God did His thing.
- I loved the smell of popcorn in the lobby before the service.
- I also loved the classic movie soundtracks playing before the service.
- Jason did an outstanding job with the set design, as always.
- The lighting guys did a great job too. Those guys add so much and I always forget to mention them here.
- We were talking about the movie Enchanted today.
- I realize it’s a kids movie but I wanted to tackle the theme of optimism in a pessimistic world.
- I never felt like I got into a rhythm while I was preaching but God is bigger than my shortcomings.
- In a way, the past couple of weeks have left me feeling like my messages were for specific people in the room. (I’m not sure if that makes sense to most folks but I bet my fellow pastors out there know what I’m talking about.)
- I want to be sure to thank the prayer team that gets together every Sunday to pray for Fusion. I feel your prayers! Thank you!
- We showed a little-known clip from Enchanted today that featured both me and Seth in a small cameo. Everybody seemed to love it!
- Today was graduation day in Kingdom Safari. I loved seeing some kids carrying around their graduation Bibles after the service.
- We’re going to be talking about Iron Man next week. I can’t wait for that.
- We had a lot of folks out of town on vacation today so attendance was light. I’m so ready for Summer to be over.
- I’m so very thankful for all of you folks that make up Fusion! I want you to know that I love being your pastor and I love you.
- Later.
