We had a great time at Fusion today!- I love teaching on relationships. I feel like it helps people on so many levels. It’s so very rewarding.
- We completely sold out of CD’s after both services today so I guess that means that the message connected with folks.
- What did you get out of it? I’d love to hear.
- I thought the band did an outstanding job with the feature song today! I must admit though that I’m jealous of Joe’s ability to play the guitar like that.
- There’s a part of me that really wishes I was a musician. I guess it’s not my call though.
- We also announced that we’re going to be offering a free Coffee House Date Night. I’m really excited about it. I think it’s going to be really cool. I’ll post more details about that later.
- Amy and I braved the snow and went to Sperata on Friday night for our Valentine’s outing. Now, it feels sort of weird to not have anything big to do tonight. Still, I’m glad we went earlier because I’m normally dead on Sunday nights.
- I’ve got a crazy idea for a project that I’d like to do with the men of the church that would be a gift for the women of the church. I just don’t know if I can get enough guys to participate. What about it, guys? Are you game?
- I absolutely adore my dear wife. Words can’t express how much I love her and how thankful I am for her.
- I watched the We Are the World 25 (for Haiti) video yesterday. It’s good. I’ll admit that I got a little choked up. I love seeing people rally together to help other people. It always impacts me. Plus, it has one of my favorite gospel groups, Mary Mary, in it!
- The video brought back vivid memories of watching the first one when it was released. Man, there was nothing bigger than that at the time. Anybody else remember that?
- I worked on a cool preservice mix for the new series. I don’t know if anybody heard it or not but I’m digging it right now. Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, Barry White and Stevie Wonder all grace the playlist. Classic stuff.
- I twittered about this earlier but if you want to be the first to know when my new side project launches, you should follow this guy on twitter.
- I want to watch some of the Olympics. I’ve only seen a bit of the opening ceremonies. I want to see some competitions. USA!
- I’ve got a ton of craziness going on in my life right now but I also have this amazing peace. God is good and He is in control.
- Do you have Valentine’s day plans? If so, reply and let me know. I’d love to hear about it.
- That’s it for now. Got to run. Peace.
