The Gift of God’s Word

I just watched this and it completely messed me up.

In this very moving video, the Kimyal people receive, for the first time ever, copies of the New Testament that have been translated into their native language. It’s wonderful to watch how thankful they are and to share in their joy as they receive this great gift.

Honestly, if that doesn’t compel you to read and cherish your Bible more, I don’t know what will.

Wow.

  1. I read the book “God Speaks Numanggang” to Daniel and Maggie today. It is about some missionaries that go to Papua New Guinea to help translate the New Testament into the native language of the Numanggang people. I showed them this video afterwards. Daniel said that he agrees with Pastor Tony’s comment that, “if that doesn’t compel you to read and cherish your Bible more, I don’t know what will.” Maggie says that the video was amazing and should be shown in the movie theater ;) Thanks again for sharing this on your blog.

    • Angie, that is outstanding! It truly made my day. Thank you for sharing. I’m thankful for your entire family.
