I just want to say for the record that I hate the devil and that he’s a jerk.  I’m not the kind of person that believes that there are demons around every corner but spiritual warfare is certainly a reality and the enemy works overtime during this time of year to try to get folks (especially pastors) off focus.

It really doesn’t matter though because the Bible says that He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world.  Simply put, the enemy may try to distract us, but he can’t every truly defeat us.

As I said, the enemy is kind of pouring it on right now but, in a way, when the attack level rises, it’s a pretty good indicator that you’re on the right track.  I know for a fact that God is really doing some cool things right now and He’s got even more cool stuff in store for us on Easter.  I’m excited and I’m not going to let these little nuisances bother me.
