I’ve had two big tech disappointments recently. First, I upgraded to Windows Vista and I’ve had nothing but problems. Then, I bought the new Blackberry 8800 and it was a dude too.
SO, I’m “upgrading” my tablet back to Windows XP and I’ve put my sim card back into my trusty Blackberry 8700.
The new stuff was okay but I lost major functionality. The bottom line is that Vista and the new phone both looked cool and neat but I couldn’t get my work done.
For a techie that always loves upgrades, these developments have been a real bummer.
I just built a new machine this week. It was my first self-build. Anyways, it’s pretty awesome and I haven’t ran into a single problem with Vista yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We installed Vista in our lab and the Admin tool didnt work, SMS didnt work, drivers for our printers were not available.
Does MS check its products b4 shipping? They have to realize that their monopoly is shrinking. Watchout Microsoft, Google and Apple will be the next tech leaders soon.
