I don’t really use a lot of notes most Sundays when I teach but I do like to have them with me just in case I go blank. I used to teach from a plain, standard-size white notebook but I felt stuck to the podium sometimes while I was reading the verses so I tried attaching my notes in a Bible. I’d seen Ed Young and others do that. I hated that. I felt like I could never find my place and it was time-consuming to attach my notes.
A few months back, I came across a leather half-sheet notebook online. It was just what I had been looking for and I ordered it. I love it. It allows me to put my notes in there easily and I can still walk around with it. Most importantly, it looks like a Bible so I still appear very spiritual.

Tony…your are THE MAN! I just ordered one of these…I was seriously just having a conversation the other day about what I was going to use on stage when speaking. I was saying how much I hate a 3 ring binder because it looks awful trying to carry that around and when I try to put notes in my Bible it gets so hard to not lose track of where I am at.
