Okay, here’s the sad thing about the One Day at a Time video. We decided to do it and we really wanted to find a cheesy perfomance track of the song. We just drove over to the local Christian bookstore and they had it in stock on CD just sitting on the shelf. I don’t know how long it had been there but the fact that it was available for someone to use in real church setting is sad and scary to me. Watch the video again and imagine someone actually singing that in your church. Yikes!
They need to have some sort of agency that reviews all performance tracks and removes ones that could damage local churches. At the very least, they should put expiration dates on the CDs.

Scary thing is…I visited a church not too long ago where a friend of mine pastors and “that guy” was there…with his wife…leading worship! It was 45 minutes of torture.
