I think a lot of times today we all fail to credit those that helped us out at the beginning.  To be sure, nobody plants a church without a lot of direct and indirect help from other churches.  I think it’s time we all give credit were it is due.

I just came across a mention in blog about North Point, John Sharp’s church in Columbia, SC.  When we were getting ready to launch in a theater five years ago there weren’t that many churches around that were meeting in theaters.  We traveled to SC and spent the morning with the gracious folks of North Point.  They helped us see that we could in fact do what God was calling us to do.  They were so very helpful and supportive.  We only had one morning with these great folks but it made a huge difference for us!
