Interesting Question

I was doing this interview thing for the Gwinnett Daily Post yesterday and I got asked what my favorite Bible verse is.  It’s odd that I’ve been a pastor as long as I have and I don’t know that I’ve every really been asked that question before.  The truth is that it’s a hard question for me to answer.  I have a great love for scripture and to try to pick just one verse is a challenge.  Thankfully, I was able to finally pick one key verse.  Here it is.

In other words, God was using Christ to restore his relationship with humanity. He didn’t hold people’s faults against them, and he has given us this message of restored relationships to tell others.  2 Cor. 5:19 (GW)
