For the present, I’m staying right here in Ephesus.  A huge door of opportunity for good work has opened up here. (There is also mushrooming opposition.)    1 Cor. 16:9 (Msg)

The truth is that any time God opens up a huge door of opportunity you can expect the enemy to try to shut that door.  In other words, with every opportunity comes opposition.  I have found this to be true in every area of life.  You can just count on it.

Right now, Fusion stands at the door of a huge opportunity.  I know with everything that’s in me that God is about to do some amazing things at our church.  Of course, with this huge opportunity comes “mushrooming opposition.” 

Honestly, the spiritual warfare element surrounding our church has been insane lately.  It’s truly been off the charts and I believe that it’s now time to call for backup.  With that in mind, I have decided to enlist at least 100 people that will commit to pray daily for Fusion, our staff and our community from now to the end of the year.  (I’d like to see a chunk of these folks to come from outside our church too.)

In a couple of weeks, I’m going to make an announcement about this at the church on Sunday morning and roll it out officially but I’d like to go ahead and extend an invitation to those of you that read my blog to join this special prayer team now.  As a part of the team, you’ll receive special prayer guides and other devotional materials to help you pray.  I’ll also send out periodic email updates to the team.  If you’d like to join, just shoot me an email at tonymc <<at>> gmail <<dot>> com.
