I’m really looking forward to the upcoming Evolve conference.  It’s going to be great.  We’ve decide to take our entire staff and I’m probably going to take a few key lay leaders too.

The main sessions alone are worth the price of admission.  They all look great but the three I’m most interested in seeing are (1) Shawn Lovejoy talking about what it takes to be a healthy leader, (2) Steven Furtick talking about courageous leadership and (3) Bil Cornelius talking about being a resilient leader. 

I’m going to soak it all in and I’m sure it’s all going to be great but, honestly, I’d go just to hear Bil Cornelius.  I don’t know what it is about that guy but God just really uses him to speak to me AND motivate me in fresh new ways.  When that guy talks I never can seem to write fast enough.

Again, I’m excited about going to this conference and I’m thankful that the guys at churchplanters.com put so much work into it.  I’ve been to a lot of conferences and this one is just quality from top to bottom.  If you’re on the face about taking a team, invest the time, effort and resources to get them there.  I’m sure you won’t regret it.
