A long time ago, I had two blogs. One was this one which was for general stuff and church announcements, etc. The other, ChurchWerx, was specifically for pastors. I eventually closed ChurchWerx down to focus on building this blog and making it more of what it needed to be. When I shut ChurchWerx down I thought that perhaps someday I’d bring it back and I now feel it’s time to do just that.
If you’re a pastor or a church planter, you’ll probably want to check it out. I’m going to be putting all of the nut and bolts of ministry stuff over there. If you’re not a pastor, you’ll more than welcome to read both blogs but I fear you may find ChurchWerx to be a little boring due to all the shop talk.
I may cross post some items but for the most part the two blogs should remain separate. I’m doing this so that pastors and planters don’t have to dig through all that “I ate a taco today” and “aren’t my kids cute” posts that tend to make up my current blog.
As with everything, this is a bit of an experiment but I’ve been feeling inspired to write some stuff that would be perfect for ChurchWerx so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Beyond my posts, we’re also going to start making some of our resources available for other pastors via ChurchWerx.
