I’m currently out of town on my study break so today is the first birthday I’ve had in 18 years without my wonderful and amazing wife being by my side. It’s weird. Of course, I knew when we planned this study break for me that I’d be away on both Father’s Day and my birthday but I didn’t realize how much that would impact me.
I’ve been missing my family like crazy and missing a couple of big days sure doesn’t help. Still, I’m doing my best to remain focused on the Lord and I’m doing everything in my power to maximize this time as I seek Him.
