We took our two oldest kids to the braves game tonight. Stephen got us some amazing (and free) seats that were only about three rows back from home plate. We had a wonderful time.
As you all probably already know, I’m not the biggest sports fan or anything but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Turner Field really is an amazing place. The space is so well designed. Of course all the cubs fans had the best time of all because the braves were playing so poorly but that did matter to us too much. ;)
They did a lot of really cool tributes to Skip Caray this evening and I enjoyed that too. They played a lot of clips of his famous calls and it was very cool to see some of those moments again. They also played the bagpipes and gave him a 21 gun salute.
The highlight of the evening was just sitting beside my wonderful wife enjoying her company as we interacted with the boys. Again, we had a great time.
