I don’t understand why the majority of the CMS providers out there don’t allow instant downloads/demos. Most of them want me to sign up for a “tour” with a salesperson. I don’t want to do that. It’s slow, unneccessary and so 1990’s. Let me see your product instantly and I’ll decide whether I like it or not.
Have you tried the open source CMSes. I think they will all offer you a download or a demo.
David, I’m referring to church management software systems. Is that what you’re talking about? I’m not aware of any open source solutions for this type of CMS.

i think we use “church windows,” but i can’t guarantee that their sales technique isn’t still in the 90’s.
