I decided to take the plunge and sign up for Elevation’s Thr3e event.  Truthfully, I’m a little tired of conferences right now but Thr3e looks different in a few major ways.

First, I think Elevation itself is just unique.  I went up and visited Elevation a couple of years ago and even then you could just tell that God was doing something very cool there.  It’s hard to explain but they’ve just got a different spirit about them.  It reminded me of when I first visited Willow Creek years ago.  You could just sense God’s hand on the place from the moment you walked in.  Elevation has that same vibe.

Something else that moved me to register was the word “movement.”  That’s a key word for me right now.  It seems that God has been bombarding me with this word/idea.  I think He wants Fusion to be more than what we are right now.  I think that He wants us to launch and be a movement.

Beyond all that, the promise of this being more than just a “standard” conference really excited me.  My understanding of this event is that those that attend will be able to ask questions and interact with the staff of Elevation in an in-depth way.   That really intrigued me and that’s ultimately why I registered.

I’ll tell you this much.  I’m going to this event as hungry and as expectant as I’ve ever been in my life.  I need a fresh word from God and I know it.  I need Him to do a deep work within me and I feel that the timing is right for Him to do it.  Get ready, Thr3e, because I’m heading your way.
