I fundamentally believe you can learn something from almost anybody.  That being said, I worry sometimes about who we label as experts in the Christian community.

I remember years ago reading a book about church leadership by a Christian “expert” only later to discover that this man, who had been telling me how to lead a church, had NEVER been a pastor.

We need to be careful to distinguish between the theoretical and the practical.  We also need to be careful who we allow to speak into our lives AND who we call “experts.”
