One thing that I just love about God is that He has class.  He just doesn’t do amazing things.  He does them with style.  He has such power and ability that when He decides to do the impossible He goes ahead and puts a little something extra in there too just to show who He is and that nothing is too difficult for Him.

When he fed the 5000 men (plus their families) He miraculously multiplied the loaves and the fishes.  I was thinking that He could have just multiplied the bread.  That would have filled everyone up.  Everyone would have been amazed and they would have all walked away happy but Jesus chose to multiple the fish too.  He went the extra mile even beyond what would have been a great miracle!

Sometimes, folks seem to represent God as some sort of pathetic entity that can just barely get the job done but that’s not God.  He’s far and above anything we can even begin to conceive.  He didn’t just create the horses but He made the zebras too.  He didn’t just make tigers but He also make lions and cheetahs and leopards and panthers and cougars.  On and on it goes.

He’s not a poor god.  He’s GOD.  He’s THE GOD.  He made it all.  He’s not out of energy or out of ideas. He’s not tired. He’s not even winded. He’s God and He’s got class.

Like a master chef that can cook amazing food and then turn around and plates (presents) it with style too, our God is more than capable of taking care of us AND doing it with style.  He doesn’t just serve baked potatoes.  He also serves steak.

Trust Him.  Worship Him.  Thank Him.
