Prayer Focus #4:  Favor

We are dealing with so many folks these days as we get everything ready.  We’re dealing with our new landlord, our old landlord, other churches (that are interested in buying some of our equipment), vendors, city inspectors, volunteer workers, contractors and more.  We want each of these dealings to go well.  We want to represent Jesus as best as we can with everyone with whom we come in contact.

Please pray that the Lord guides our interactions and that He preemptively minimizes any friction and overcomes any potential miscommunications.  Also pray that He gives us favor in every instance where we need to deal with a decision maker.

“O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.”  I was cupbearer to the king.  Neh. 1:11 (NIV)
