Days 6 and 7 were grace days so I hope you enjoyed to little break or used the time to get caught up.  Day 8 was yesterday and, as I said earlier, I’m running a little behind but I did finish it up today.

Let me first say that I absolutely love the gospel of Mark.  That book rocks my world like crazy.  It’s probably my favorite book in the Bible.  Amazing stuff.  Mark was a guy that was writing to communicate with the non-Jews of his day so he tries to explain some of the Jewish customs as he goes along.  He also talks a lot about the power of God because gentiles of the day were obsessed with power.  Does that remind you of any cultures today?  :)

As in Matthew, Jesus just goes about doing His wonderful stuff and teaching like crazy.  Did you pick up how crazy the crowds were?  Jesus must have been so very tired but He kept on teaching and healing and leading.  Awesome!

I think Mark 7:37 sums it all up nicely…

They were completely amazed and said again and again, “Everything he does is wonderful.”  Mark 7:37a (NLT)
