Stump the Chump (& His Lovely Wife)

I’m seriously thinking about having a Sunday where Amy and I do nothing but answer questions about dating, courtship and marriage.  How does that sound to you guys?  Everybody always seems to love it when Amy shares the teaching stage with me so I bet you guys like the idea.

Here’s the deal though.  We need a good assortment of questions to make this happen so I need you to submit your questions via this form.  If we get enough, we’ll do a Q&A day at Fusion.  If we don’t,  Amy and I may try to answer a few here.  I don’t know.  We’ll just have to see.

Anyway, are you game?  If so, submit your questions now!

  1. Tony, it was good talking to you on sunday, i figured this was the best way to say it was good to see you after 25 years, i guess the reason i have been coming around is my dad is sick, and i remember before you made a transition to religion when went our separate ways, and in the back of my mind i knew you had gone far with the church. having said that i know it’s kind of a poor reason to be coming around because of a tragedy, but as much as i want to go and pray for my father, i’ve always felt arkward just going in a strange church and not knowing who the person preaching is, thats why i have come to your church, for some prayer, i know you. I left a couple emails on your fusion blog. Listen I know it’s been along time but i’ve always felt you were one of my best friends when we were kids, I know you have your own life now with your family. but i’m going to take this time to thank you for being a good friend up until we went our own seperate ways. my mom still asks about you to this day, she always thought you were the best of all my friends, do you remember in 1983 december when you dropped that gift of to my house and it was a bible, do you remember that? Thats when i knew you had really changed. I’ll always be greatful when i could always get away from my abusive stepfather and come to your house for the weekend and spend time playing with you and todd. You never realized this but that saved me from being beaten up from my stepfather for that weekend and all always be greatful for that. well man, i’ll keep praying my dad gets better. thanks again man scott zortman

  2. Hey [old] friend….. Miss you like crazy!!! lol Had an idea regarding your question/answer on marriage, dating, etc. Put it on video/cd and sell it! Use it as a teaching tool for other christian counseling groups/churches/high schoolers, etc. Everybody always needs a refresher… no matter our age.

Let me know if you guys ever come to SC, would love to meet Amy and introduce you to Robbie.

Take care and keep us in your prayers as well… We’re on our rocky road like you guys.

    Love ya! Connie
