Focus Service Review

Wow!  That’s about all I can say about everything that happened last night at our Focus service.  It was quite possibly one of the greatest services I’ve ever experienced.  I could be wrong but I feel like God impacted every person that was in that room in a major way.   I’m really at a loss for words to know how to describe everything I felt.

I do feel compelled to thank God once again for showing up in such a powerful way.  We had been praying and praying about this service and I’m certain that God moved the way He did in response to those prayers.

I also want to thank everyone that served.  I could go on and on but let me just single out Shannon and Kimberly would did an amazing job with the children.  I also want to especially thank the many middle school and high school students to volunteered to help with children.  What an example of servanthood!

What more can I say about the service itself?  I honestly don’t know.  All I can think to do is thank God again.  If that was just what He did to prepare us for Easter, imagine what Sunday is going to be like!!

If you were there last night, I’d love to hear your feedback.  How did God impact or speak to you?  Let me know.

  1. Really really really enjoyed the service. Loved the new song and Amazing Grace. The message was awesome. Really got me thinking and gave me focus. So I thought the outcome was perfect! Thank you and everybody who made it possible. Fabulous on so many fronts I can’t put into words!

  2. The Focus service was incredible. Great praise and worship and a great message. Preparing for Easter like never before and looking for God to show up in a big way on the holiest of holy-days. Thanks to all who were a part of last night.

  3. When worship started, there was a point where, all of a sudden, there was the very real presence of God that sort of “fell,” for lack of a better word — almost tangible. It was a sweet time, for sure. Thanks for allowing the Lord to do His thing last night!

  4. I loved every single thing about it and I am just so thankful for Tony, the entire staff and volunteers who make all this “Stuff” happen. Regularly. It’s all pretty amazing. I loved the sense of expectation that God would show up…..and boy did He! What an an awesome way to prepare spiritually for this Sunday.

Also I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but there was the most amazing full moon on the way home that night. It was HUGE and a really beautiful, unusual shade of orange…..kind of like God just adding an exclamation point to the evening. It gave me chill bumps!
